The hilarious Spanish comedy, NO MANCHES FRIDA starring Mexican actors Omar Chaparro, Martha Higareda and Mario Moran, comes to DVD on December 27. Mario Moran talks to us about his role as a spoiled high schooler opposite Omar Chaparro.

Best known for his roles on the Mexican telenovelas La Doña y Pasión y Poder, Moran makes the transition to movies withe the comedy, NO MANCHES FRIDA. While shooting a new project, Moran took time from his production schedule to discuss hsi current comedy.

These films always seem to fall under the atrocious--guilty pleasure category and don’t generally make that “Marvel” money. Despite the trend, Japanese director Makoto Shinkai, has taken his anime switching-places film, YOUR NAME, and propelled it to become the second highest grossing Japanese title of all time! In fact, his picture is now in the running to be crowned the Best Animated Feature at the Oscars.
