John Krasinski A Quiet Place Interview

John Krasinski is not a fan of the horror genre, but he wanted to direct a scary film that is an allegory to parenthood. The director, writer and star of A QUIET PLACE sat down with CineMovie to discuss his reasons behind making the horror movie and what he learned about his wife Emily Blunt as the lead actress in his movie.

John Krasinski directs his real-life wife Emily Blunt in the horror film A QUIET PLACE. The film is getting rave reviews since its premiere at the SXSW Festival in March. Krasinski and Blunt play a husband and wife whose family is forced to live in silence while hiding from creatures that hunt by sound.
