Many filmmakers site Star Wars as an influence in their lives and work, and that includes Sucker Punch director Zack Snyder who obviously had Star Wars on the brain when he doodled some tie fighters and the Death Star during a Sucker Punch press interview.
Only CineMovie has the original doodle. See it below.
While promoting Sucker Punch at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, the 300 and Watchmen helmer doodled on a hotel pad as he talked to a room full of journalists about his latest film release. Along with his wife and producer Deborah Snyder, Zack answered questions regarding his current film and details about the new Superman film currently in pre-production.
At the conclusion of our roundtable interviews with the filmmaker, CineMovie asked to see his sketch. He signed it and handed it over into our anxious little hands. As you see on the doodle below, Zack was obviously in a galaxy far far away. Who could blame him when you're in a room full of press!
CineMovie is honored to have the exclusive Zack Snyder doodle of the Death Star and tie fighters.
Sucker Punch is now playing in movie theaters.
