New 'Rogue One: Star War' Story Teaser Trailer Sets Up Felicity Jones' Character

The new teaser trailer for ROGUE ONE: STAR WARS STORY debuted on Good Morning America Thursday morning. The brand new preview introduces us to Felicity Jones’ character, Jyn Erso a rebellious loner forced to help the alliance steal the plans to the Death Star with Diego Luna’s help along with a samurai and Forest Whitaker. We also get a first look at Ben Mendelsohn as an imperial leader. Unfortunately Darth Vader doesn't make an appearance yet, but we're still holding out hope he will be in prequel because it makes sense the iconic villain exist at this time. Watch the trailer.
Lucasfilm's ROGUE ONE which takes place before the events of Star Wars: A New Hope, tells the story of unlikely heroes who have united to steal plans to the dreaded Death Star. The cast includes Felicity Jones, Diego Luna, Ben Mendelsohn, Donnie Yen, Jiang Wen, Forest Whitaker, Mads Mikkelsen, Alan Tudyk, and Riz Ahmed. Rogue One: A Star Wars Story is directed by Gareth Edwards and produced by Kathleen Kennedy.
