The Office's Craig Robinson is the leading man in PEEPLES, a comedy starring Scandal's Kerry Washington as his love interest. Both get their own movie posters with a play on the movie title in the movie presented by Tyler Perry.
Craig Robinson is Wade Walker tries to impress his girlfriend's (Washington) upscale parents in the Hamptons which Wade refers to in the trailer as the "chocolate Kennedys." Funny man David Alan Grier and Law & Order's Epatha Merkerson play Kerry Washington's parents.Wade Walker crashes the preppy Peeples annual reunion in the Hamptons to ask for their precious daughter Grace's (Kerry Washington) hand in marriage. Wade might be a fish-out-of-water among this seemingly perfect East Coast clan, but he’s not about to let himself flounder.
Both movie posters tease the movie title with Craig frowning on the one-sheet tagline "He's not one of the Peeples," while Kerry Washington's poster reads "She comes from good Peeples."
Melvin Van Peebles and Diahann Carroll also star in a film written and directed by Tina Gordon Chism.
