Since Matt Dillon didn’t make it out of “Wayward Pines,” a new cast will be joining the M. Night Shyamalan FOX series in its second season. Movie actors Djimon Hounsou and Jason Patric make the leap to television as the stars of season two. CineMovie caught up with the actors at WonderCon 2016 in Los Angeles to get the scoop on their new roles, and what attracted them to the world of television.
During our discussion with Jason Patric, the former 80s heartthrob revealed they were only one and a half shows into production. Regardless, FOX released a first look at the new season at WonderCon 2016.
The creepy drama about a post-apocalyptic town overtaken by hyper-evolved monsters returns this summer on FOX.
