Bradley Cooper and Jennifer Lawrence are perfectly mental for each other in SILVER LININGS PLAYBOOK. The two actors and director David O. Russell were each nominated for an Academy Award for the dramedy about two misfits trying to cop with life and falling in love, although Bradley denies the budding romance to Chris Tucker in this clip from acclaimed movie.
Bradley Cooper plays Pat, a former teacher with a few mental issues which landed him in a mental institution. After a stint in the hospital, he returns to living with his parents (Robert DeNiro and Animal Kingdom's Jacki Weaver). His quest to reconcile with his ex-wife takes a detour when he meets his match in Tiffany (Lawrence), an equally disturbed woman. The two form a friendship that soon develops into something more.
Based on Matthew Quick's novel and written for the screen by director David O. Russell, SILVER LININGS PLAYBOOK also stars Julia Stiles and Chris Tucker who we haven't seen since his last run in 2007's Rush Hour 3.
SILVER LININGS PLAYBOOK opened in movie theaters November 21, 2012.
