Kathryn Bigelow's ZERO DARK THIRTY starring Jessica Chastain, Chris Pratt, Joel Edgerton, Mark Strong (The Green Lantern, Kick-Ass), Kyle Chandler ("Friday Night Lights," Super 8) and Edgar Ramirez is up for four Oscar nominations. Opening December 19, the first film about the behind the scenes of the hunt for Bin Laden. The Academy Award winning director reteams with her Hurt Locker writer-producer partner Mark Boal to tell the story of the elite team of intelligence and military operatives who devoted themselves to finding and eliminating Osama bin Laden. The film chronicles the worldwide manhunt of the al-Qaeda leader, and his death at the hands of the Navy SEAL Team 6 in 2011.In the trailer, we see Jessica Chastain, Kyle Chandler, Edgar Ramirez and Chris Pratt in action as CIA operatives working to find the most wanted man in the world. Bigelow brings the same intensity of her award-winning film The Hurt Locker to this preview, and it looks like it may be another contender during the upcoming award season.
