BLACK PANTHER isn’t just a blockbuster superhero movie. For a lot of people, specifically people of color and women, it’s the chance to see yourself reflected on the screen and feeling empowered. The Marvel movie poses a lot of questions about how we are as a people, our history of oppression and the responsibility that comes with having power.  Big action pieces are often mindless popcorn flicks, but that's not the case with BLACK PANTHER.

However, one thing that can be said about both the novels and movie adaptations is that the female character of Anastasia is strong and determined not to let a man dictate her actions. That's probably the only admirable thing about the FIFTY SHADES trilogy.

He experienced a similar journey as the character he plays on screen in the Mexican comedy. Acting opposite Marimar Vega and Omar Chaparro, the non-Spanish speaker was in for a big surprise when he landed in Mexico and found out the Mexican comedy was 90% in Spanish.

Han Solo has landed. The first look at Alden Ehrenreich as Han Solo is here in the new teaser trailer for SOLO: A STAR WARS STORY. The smuggler is prominent in the preview along with Donald Glover as Lando Calrissian, Emily Clarke as Qi'Ra and Woody Harrelson as someone who recruits Chewie and Solo on a mission. And of course, whenever the Millenium Falcon shows up, who doesn't get goosebumps. The ship has the new car feel you can almost smell it.

As expected Marvel released a new preview for Marvel's AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR during the Super Bowl. In the TV spot, we finally get to see Captain America (Chris Evans) with his new shields. Notice the plural. Thanks to Wakanda technology, he's got one in each hand. Now we're wondering what special abilities those shields have, and that should be exciting to see when it opens May 4.
