Hollywood has overused the phrase, 'based on a true story' when promoting a new film. So when another flick makes the claim, you tend to ignore it, but the featurette for THE CONJURING makes this horror tale all the more frightening when you are introduced to the Perron family who literally went to hell and back in actual events portrayed in the film.
