Sean Penn is one brave man. The actor turned activist has been at the forefront of political and social causes such as his work in Haiti, his meetings with controversial political figures such as Cuban president Raul Castro, Venezuelan president Hugo Chavez and now he can add Mexico's public enemy number 1 - Joaquín Archivaldo Guzmán Loera otherwise known as El Chapo. The infamous drug lord escaped two Mexican prisons, but was recently captured once again. In the Rolling Stone article, he details the trip to Mexico along with Mexican actress Kate del Castillo who arranged the meeting with her pen pal.

We're officially 15 years into the 21st century, which means it's time for some serious reflection. It's really been an incredible 15 years for film lovers, to the point that Hollywood at the outset of 2016 seems more capable than ever. But that's not to say there haven't been plenty of low points. In fact, the massive budgets and hype cycles we've gotten used to have almost made it harder for movies to live up to expectations, resulting in more disappointments.
So just for fun, and with Batman v. Superman: Dawn Of Justice right around the corner, here's a look back at my 10 most disappointing films of the 21st century so far.

Robert Downey Jr. and Jennifer Lawrence were the highest paid actors in 2015, according to Entertainment Weekly's year-end wrap up issue. The Iron Man earned a reportedly $80 million dollars for his two films in 2015 while the Hunger Games star took away a $52 million pay check by the year's end despite having worked on four films in 2015. The gender divide in pay is obvious when comparing the two stars' salaries.

David O’Russell’s JOY is a love letter to women who often have to fight twice as hard as men in this life.

Warner Bros. recreated Neverland in Beverly Hills at the London Hotel for an event celebrating the new movie, PAN starring Hugh Jackman, Garrett Hedlund, Amanda Seyfried,Rooney Mara and Levi Miller as Peter Pan. At the event, costumes from the movie were on display as well as art from the film. Sue Evelyn Gil takes you to the world of Peter Pan recreated on the roof of a hotel overlooking Los Angeles.
