'Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1' Kills Competition at Box Office

Jennifer Lawrence's third outing as Katniss in THE HUNGER GAMES: MOCKINGJAY PART 1 took the number one spot at the box office with $123 million in North America, but the movie didn't open as strong as the first one and CATCHING FIRE. Mockingjay was the only new movie release before the Thanksgiving holiday, so audiences are still flocking to see BIG HERO 6 and INTERSTELLAR with the two films coming in at second and third at the box office respectively.

See how the other films fared this weekend including Jim Carrey's DUMB AND DUMBER TO which took a big drop from its number one position last weekend.
