In a delightful blend of Disney magic and rock 'n' roll history, Stitch, the mischievous alien from Disney's LILO & STITCH, made a special appearance at Graceland in Memphis, Tennessee, earlier today. Arriving in a pink convertible—a nod to Elvis Presley’s iconic pink Cadillac—Stitch paid homage to the King of Rock 'n' Roll ahead of the highly anticipated release of the live-action reimagining of the 2002 animated classic. The visit included a tour of Elvis Presley’s Memphis entertainment complex, where Stitch admired the legendary singer’s jumpsuits and his famous pink Cadillac. The day culminated in a special screening of the new film at The Guest House at Graceland, offering fans a unique opportunity to experience the movie in the heart of Elvis’s former home.
Directed by Dean Fleischer Camp, known for the Oscar-nominated MARCEL THE SHELL WITH SHOES ON, the live-action LILO & STITCH stars Sydney Elizebeth Agudong, Billy Magnussen, Tia Carrere, Hannah Waddingham, Chris Sanders, with Courtney B. Vance, and Zach Galifianakis, and introduces Maia Kealoha. The film is set to hit theaters nationwide on May 23, 2025, in various formats including Dolby Cinema, RealD 3D, Cinemark XD, and 4DX.
