Cars, trucks, and tanks? The sixth film in the Fast and Furious franchise takes the action up three notches up with impressive car chase sequences that involve a tank. This time FBI agent Dwayne Johnson recruits the fast and furious team to help the law chase down a lethal criminal organization in exchange for a pardon.
Directed by Justin Lin for a fourth time, Vin Diesel, Paul Walker, Tyrese Gibson, Sung Kang, and Jordana Brewster return for more action with cars along with newcomers Luke Evans and MMA fighter turned actress Gina Carano (Haywire). Michelle Rodriguez is resurrected from the dead as Letty who is still on the wrong side of the law working for the skilled mercenary drivers. In the trailer, Letty doesn't take kindly to being left for dead, and takes revenge on Dom by shooting him. Letty also has a hard core fight scene with Gina Carano's deadly punches.
And as expected with this franchise, the fast cars and skimpy-outfitted girls return the genre to its early films. FAST & FURIOUS opens May 24, 2013.
