First Look at Keanu Reeves and Alex Winter in 'Bill and Ted Face the Music'

It's going to be a most excellent 2020 when Keanu Reeves and Alex Winter reprise their roles as Bill and Ted in the third movie in the franchise. It'll be interesting to see how the characters have grown up or are they stuck in their old ways. Perhaps the title, BILL AND TED FACE THE MUSIC, is a clue. Check out the three new images from the movie and the official synopsis.
Two of the newly released images includes William "Bill" S. Preston Esq. and Theodore "Ted" Logan, along with William Sadler who reprises his role as the Grim Reaper from BILL AND TED'S BOGUS JOURNEY. The new cast includes the breakout star form READY OR NOT, Samara Weaving, Kid Cudi and Brigette Lundy- Paine.
The plot reveals Bill and Ted are off to a new adventure with their daughters, and it promises lots of cameos.
BILL AND TED FACE THE MUSIC opens August 21, 2020.
Official Synopsis
The stakes are higher than ever for the time-traveling exploits of William "Bill" S. Preston Esq. and Theodore "Ted" Logan. Yet to fulfill their rock and roll destiny, the now middle aged best friends set out on a new adventure when a visitor from the future warns them that only their song can save life as we know it. Along the way, they will be helped by their daughters, a new batch of historical figures, and a few music legends — to seek the song that will set their world right and bring harmony in the universe.
Bill & Ted Face the Music is directed by Dean Parisot (Galaxy Quest), from a screenplay by Chris Matheson and Ed Solomon (Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure, Bill & Ted's Bogus Journey) - and produced by Scott Kroopf, Alex Lebovici, and Steve Ponce.
