Iron Man 3 kicks off the summer season of superheroes at the movies. Like Tony Stark, other super heroes return to save the world such as Superman, Percy Jackson, Hugh Jackman's Wolverine, Star Trek and the Kick Ass wannabe crew. Check out the previews to these films and other special-effects heavy involving super humans.

While some familiar caped crusaders return in 2013's summer season, other newbies join the crowded marketplace with films such as The Mortal Instrument, Matt Damon in Elysium, Guillermo del Toro's human-controlled fighting robots in Pacific Rim and Ryan Reynolds in the comic book adaptation R.I.P.D.
