The filmmaker behind Saw and Insidious directs another supernatural thriller, THE CONJURING starring Vera Farmiga, Patrick Wilson, Ron Livingston, Lili Taylor, and Joey King (OZ: The Great and Powerful). Judging from this new preview, you're in for a scary good time.
Academy Award® nominee Vera Farmiga (Up in the Air, Orphan) and Patrick Wilson (Young Adult, Prometheus) play characters based on a real married couple and demonologists, Ed and Lorraine Warren. Drawn from some of their case files, the paranormal investigators come to the aid of a family terrorized by a demonic figure taking refuge at secluded farmhouse. This particular case is far worse than anything the Warren's have ever seen with a powerful demonic entity unwilling to part from his human hosts.
THE CONJURING also stars Ron Livingston (HBO’s Band of Brothers) and Lili Taylor (Public Enemies) as Roger and Carolyn Perron, residents of the house.
THE CONJURING haunts its way into movie theaters July 19, 2013.
