Fangirling with Marie Osmond: Actress Alexa Mansour on Working with the Musical Icon on 'Fantasy Island'

Actress Alexa Mansour (The Walking Dead: World Beyond) wasn't aware of Marie Osmond's fame before shooting her Fantasy Island scenes with the guest star but once she researched the musical icon's past, she tells CineMovie she was fangirling.
The iconic country and pop music artist, and variety show cohost appeared on ABC's Fantasy Island revival as a guest star in episode 8 of season 2. Mansour, a guest star for multiple episodes in season 2, had no idea of Osmond's popularity in the 1970s and 80s until she took to the internet, and became a fan.
The 26-year-old also tells CineMovie what it was like working with Roselyn Sanchez on the new series who she admired before arriving on the Puerto Rican set.
The role was quite a departure for the actress who starred in The Walking Dead spin-off, World Beyond for two seasons. From a post-apocalypse setting to a tropical island is not a bad gig, although she says her characters are similar in that they're both in dark places in their lives.
