On my list, I highly recommend watching Hulu's Dopesick about the opioid epidemic that Purdue Pharma caused starring Rosario Dawson, Michael Keaton, Peter Sarsgaard, Kaitlyn Dever, Michael Stuhlbarg and Will Poulter.  It's a riveting and compelling series that will get your blood boiling because of the complicity of the FDA and Congress in the crisis brought on by greed.

Netflix's THE HARDER THEY FALL is also a star-studded project that finally portrays black Americans in the Old West. Regina King, Idris Elba, LaKeith Stanfield, Jonathan Majors, Zazie Beetz and Delroy Lindo don cool cowboy costumes in a revenge story that feels familiar except with faces largely ignored in the western genre.  An interesting note is that the character names were based on real-life cowboys and gangs. One of the best characters played by Danielle Deadwyler is "Cuffee" who passed herself as a man to join the army in her real life, however, that wasn't portrayed in the movie.

Narcos Mexico returns with less fanfare for a season 3. The lack of a central figure makes this new season less compelling and low-key for the first few episodes, but it does ramp up.

Gentefied is also back in its sophomore run. The novelty of the show has worn off but the character's journey is what you stick around for.
