THE FLASH director Andy Muschietti has cast Latina actress Sasha Calle (The Young and the Restless) as the cinematic Supergirl for the 2022 movie starring Ezra Miller. The Argentinian director surprised the actress with the news over a Zoom session, and she burst into tears. THE MAURITANIAN director Kevin MacDonald helms the true story of Mohamedou Ould Salahi who was imprisoned at Guatanamo Bay for 14 years without a trial after 9/11. The film stars Jodie Foster, Benedict Cumberbatch, Shailene Woodley and Golden Globe best actor nominee Tahar Rahim as Salahi. The Scottish director says it's not a political film that judges but a story of forgiviness.

There's a reason why Kristen Wiig's latest film went straight to rental. BARB & STAR GO TO VISTA DEL MAR is like a live version of a DESPICABLE ME movie or feature length SNL skit. It borders on stupidity but Wiig and her costar/writing partner Annie Mumolo are endearing enough to keep your attention as long as your expectations remain low. It doesn't deliver on the belly laughs we've come to expect from Wiig's comedy but you will get some chuckles. Unfortunately Jamie Dornan feels out of place in this silly comedy.

It's an all-out assult on Earth with three villains aiming to destroy the human race in Zack Synder's original vision for JUSTICE LEAGUE. The first official trailer has arrived with tons of new footage, grant it via CGI. The trailer introduces Darkseid and DeSaad who were absent from Joss Whedon's JUSTICE LEAGUE. You also see Henry Cavill's Superman in his dark suit and Jared Leto's joker appears.
