Robert DeNiro's Tribeca Enterprise is taking the show on the road with its Tribeca Drive-In Series partnering with IMAX and AT&T for pop up drive-ins. Movie theaters may be opening in July but confidence in watching movies in an auditorium remains low in a COVID-19 environment. Drive-ins is the perfect solution, and Tribeca Enterprises announced a curated program will roll out in Los Angeles, New York, Arlington (Texas), Miami, Seattle and suburbs of New York. The program starts July 1st and a percentage of proceeds from ticket sales will go to Black Lives Matter.

Stephen King's "The Stand" is getting another adaptation for CBS All Access starring James Marsden, Odessa Young, Alexander Skarsgård and Amber Heard. Shot entirely on a decommissioned Airbus A320, the Oscar nominated director took an experimental approach to the thriller with improvised camera movements and dialogue in 20 to 30 minute takes.

Voter suppression is a hot button issue right now, and Oscar-nominated and Emmy-winning filmmaker Liz Garbus and Oscar-nominated filmmaker Lisa Cortés tackle the subject in an Untitled Voting Rights documentary featuring former Alabama gubernatorial candidate Stacey Abrams which Amazon Studios has acquired. Since Comic Con in San Diego is no longer happening in person but online in light of the pandemic, DC is bringing their own virtual fan experience for free on Saturday, August 22 for a 24-hour event showcasing their DC universe of upcoming feature films, comics, WB games and tv and streaming shows. That includes exclusive footage reveal for THE SUICIDE SQUAD, WONDER WOMAN 1984 and Zack Snyder's cut of JUSTICE LEAGUE. The best part is that it's open to all for free.
