At first glance, SPUTNIK's premise appears to rip off ALIEN but the Russian sci-fi only borrows that concept and elevates into something more original. Don't come looking for an action-filled movie, however, it will have you on the edge of your seat.

Charlie Plummer gives an outstanding performance as a schizophrenic teen in WORDS ON BATHROOM WALLS. The young actor lost the role of SPIDER-MAN to Tom Holland, but everything happens for a reason, and perhaps his path was a different one. No doubt this breakthrough role will propel him into stardom, in additon to making him the next hot thing for young teens. Watch video below.

The virgin. The floozy. A sex-starved teen and the jock, all walk into a cabin in the woods, and one by one they die a horrible death. MURDER IN THE WOODS is just like every other teen slasher movie out there except this one stars a Latinx cast, and written and directed by Latinx filmmakers. Usually I'd applaud the effort, but sadly MURDER IN THE WOODS is a carbon copy of past movies, and a missed opportunity to inject new life into the slasher/horror genre with Latinx flavor.
