Last week, Disney executive Mitchell Leib announced on the Light the Fuse podcast that Disney will be moving forward with TRON 3 starring Jared Leto for Disney+. A decade has passed since the sequel, TRON: LEGACY so the news came as a surprise. That begged the question whether TRON fans are excited about a third movie and the new lead. CineMovie conducted a poll and the results were surprising.

Robert DeNiro's Tribeca Enterprises is hosting pop up drive-ins across the nation through August. It’s been months since watching a movie on the big screen due to the pandemic, so it was a real thrill attending Tribeca’s drive-in at the Rose Bowl to watch SPACE JAM for the first time. The screening was held in the daytime so there was concern about the visibility of the movie during the high sun.

Disney is following the formula that made "The Mandalorian" with a new Disney+ animated show that follows mercenaries with Dave Filoni as the executive producer. A spin-off of "The Clone Wars," "Bad Batch" will follow a group of mercenaries who are genetically different from the Clone Army which were introduced on that show. The Disney press release states this "Bad Batch" have a special skill that make them deadly. Read the official announcement.

Their latest, "The Claudia Kishi Club" stars an Asian American woman from an adaptation the best-selling Baby-Sitters Club books. There’s a reason why the Tom Hanks naval drama was dumped from a theatrical release to Apple TV+. The World War II movie is one of dullest entry in the genre, and the shortest clocking in at 88 minutes. With little character development, GREYHOUND has some intense moments and intrigue, but initially it's difficult to become invested in it.

In an adaptation of Katherine Applegate’s bestselling book, a circus gorilla named Ivan longs to live in the wild after meeting a baby elephant named Ruby. Bryan Cranston stars as the human who raised Ivan voiced by Sam Rockwell. Angelina Jolie, Helen Mirren and Danny DeVito lend their voices for the other animals.

Jordan curates a summer screening program called “A Night at the Drive-In” with double-features that reflect multi-cultural voices such as BLACK PANTHER, SPIDER-MAN: INTO THE SPIDER-VERSE, GIRLS TRIP and others.
