If you're going to have a Latino superhero, you might as well have him fight the drug cartel. EL CHICANO is a vigilante crime fighter with Raúl Castillo donning the mask. The film is co-written by Joe Carnahan, the writer/director behind NARC, THE GREY and SMOKIN ACES so it should be good. The film also stars Kate del Castillo, George Lopez and "Lucifer's" Aimee Garcia.

Angelina Jolie and Elle Fanning return as Maleficent and Princess Aurora in the Disney sequel titled MALEFICENT: MISTRESS OF EVIL opening October 18, 2019. A new (very goth) poster was unveiled for the announcement. The new title is an interesting one in that it brings up the question whether it's referring to Maleficent or a new threat to the magical land of the Moors.

Will Smith has some big genie shoes to fill, and it's a mixed bag so far with Disney's latest first look at Smith as the Blue Genie. No doubt it's jarring seeing Smith big and blue, but that's expected given the look live-action aspect of it. Twitter users mocked Smith's Genie, and some aren't judging until they see the performance. At thi point, Disney may be wishing for their own genie lamp.
