The notorious drug cartel jefe Pablo Escobar is a popular subject matter for another movie with Javier Bardem playing the Colombian crime boss. In this retelling of his dramatic downfall focuses on his love affair with Colombian journalist Virginia Vallejo played by Bardem's real-life wife Penelope Cruz. Peter Sarsgaard also stars in the English-language film.

It's been a long time since we've seen Jennifer Garner kick ass since her turn as Elektra and Sydney Bristol years back. The actress is back in fine form as a revenge-seeking mother and wife whose daughter and husband were killed by the drug cartel. Too bad the villains are once again Latinos. It's all-too familiar narrative that feeds into Trump's nasty rhetoric about Latinos being gang and cartel members.

Actor turned director Andy Serkis takes the helm of this movie adaptation of JUNGLE BOOK which Serkis says is the exact tone the author Rudyard Kipling intended. Paul Rudd and Evangeline Lilly teaming up in ANT-MAN AND THE WASP is the best thing to happen to the Marvel Cinematic Universe this summer. Evangeline Lilly as the Wasp may just steal the show. She was already a bad ass in the first movie, but suited up, she's got all the cool moves. The humor that made the first movie so enjoyable is present in the latest preview, so we have a good feeling about the sequel.

If you like your film plots to have sequels, trilogies, and remakes, the Ocean’s films tick all of those boxes and much more. From the original 1960 Ocean’s 11 (starring the Rat Pack) to the 2001 remake and its sequels (featuring George Clooney and Brad Pitt), this film series is a gift that just keeps on giving. So, after Steven Soderbergh stated that there would not be an Ocean’s Fourteen, Ocean’s fans were understandably left disappointed. While the films had gone out on a high note, they still had huge potential for a continuation of the storyline; but the death of Bernie Mac (who played Frank Catton in the Ocean’s trilogy) in 2008 meant that a fourth film from the franchise was unlikely. Then it was announced in October 2015 that a sequel to the Ocean’s Eleven trilogy was in the pipeline, but this time with a difference.
