Another Disney•Pixar classic is coming back to movie theaters in 3D. FINDING NEMO returns to theaters in digital 3D beginning September 14, and in December Marlin, Dory, and Nemo come into your homes on high-definition Blu-ray and Blu-ray 3D for the first time.
Originally FINDING NEMO was shot in 3D, according to John Lasseter, executive producer and chief creative officer for Walt Disney and Pixar Animation Studios, but with recent technological advances, the animated underwater adventure will be seen as originally intended with enhancements to the breathtaking visuals that first captured movie-goer's fascination with the sea creatures. First released in 2003, FINDING NEMO took home the Oscar® for Best Animated Feature Film that year and remains the second highest grossing Pixar film to date (behind “Toy Story 3”).
When FINDING NEMO hits homes on December 4, 2012, the Blu-ray 2D and 3D comes with a host of interactive features and bonus features including 3D Virtual Aquariums, 2D Virtual Aquariums, CineExplorer, a Filmmaker Roundtable and more.
Directed by Oscar® winner Andrew Stanton (John Carter), co-directed by Oscar winner Lee Unkrich and produced by Graham Walters, “Finding Nemo” features the voices of Albert Brooks (Marlan), Ellen DeGeneres (Dory), Willem Dafoe (as Gill), Brad Garrett (as Bloat), Allison Janney (as Peach), Austin Pendleton (as Gurgle), Stephen Root (as Bubbles), Vicki Lewis (as Deb/Flo), Joe Ranft (as Jacques) Geoffrey Rush (as Nigel), Elizabeth Perkins (as Coral), Bob Peterson (as Mr. Ray), Barry Humphries (as Bruce), Eric Bana (as Anchor), Bruce Spence (as Chum), and director Andrew Stanton (as Crush).
