Journey to Space Exhibit Opens at California Science Center

Journey to Space Exhibit 1

Journey to Space: The Exhibition is now open at the California Science Center in Los Angeles, and from the 2-minute highlight reel (watch below) it looks like it's not only fun and educational for kids, but adults may take an interest in changing their career paths.

Ridley Scott's THE MARTIAN made space exploration cool again, and this new exhibit will hopefully inspire a new generation of explorers. The new exhibit offers those interested in space exploration a chance to see what the future holds for space exploration through exhibits and a 3D film.

'American Ultra' Movie InstaReview: Silly But Fun

American Ultra Jesse Eisenberg Kristen Stewart image

It’s hard to imagine Jesse Eisenberg as an action hero, but he pulls it off as a stoner turned cold-blooded killer in AMERICAN ULTRA. Surprisingly, Kristen Stewart also proves  a formidable action heroine alongside Jessie and "Nashville’s" Connie Britton who equally brings on the whoop ass.

'Sinister 2' Movie Review

Sinister 2 horror movie review

Fans of the first installment in the SINISTER series may enjoy some aspects of this sequel. But while the driving force of the first film was in how it embraced and elevated its potboiler murder-mystery, the second film suffers from a lighter narrative thrust -- relying too heavily on the more supernatural elements of the story.

Man From U.N.C.L.E. InstaReview: Good Chemistry, Weak Story

Man From UNCLE movie2

In short, THE MAN FROM U.N.C.L.E. is entertaining solely because of Henry Cavill, Armie Hammer and Alicia Vikander's chemistry, but as far as the story goes it's your typical get the nuclear warhead from the bad guys-type of plot.  However, the Man of Steel was a delight to see in a comedy looking quit dapper and debonair, and the 60s fashion was in itself a scene stealer.

'Straight Outta Compton' Movie Review

Straight Outta Compton movie2

One doesn’t go into a NWA biopic expecting to shed a tear or two, but STRAIGHT OUTTA COMPTON director F. Gary Gray delivers a story that hits on all the emotions from sadness, anger to light-hearted moments. STRAIGHT OUTTA COMPTON doesn’t focus on the music rather on the friendship behind NWA and how fame ruined it.

MAGIC MIKE XXL Review: The 'Hot and Bothered' Rating

MagicMikeXXL movie4

On my “Hot and Bothered” scale, the sequel to MAGIC MIKE scored lower than its predecessor. MAGIC MIKE XXL, as far as story goes, was much more compelling than the first one, but I couldn’t pinpoint why it didn’t satisfy as much as the first one. Then I caught the first movie on E!, and it all made sense.

'Ex-Machina' Blu-ray InstaReview

Ex Machina Domnhall Gleeson, Alicia Vikander, Oscar Isaac

Watched EX-MACHINA on Blu-ray & it lives up to the hype. Most reviews called it "great" but I'd say "really good" with a somewhat predictable ending, but still have to give it props for an original story. Good performances from cast and great score. The movie also turned me onto the band, Savages whose single "Husbands" is used during the end credits & their sound is reminiscent of early Siouxsie & the Banshees (Yay! Always in need of new music).
