HITCHCOCK Movie Review

Anthony Hopkins and Helen Mirren in HITCHCOCK

I'd give HITCHCOCK an "A" solely for proving that behind every great man is an even greater woman. One of the intriguing parts of the movie, directed by Sacha Gervasi, turns out to be that Mrs. Hitchcock saved Psycho from becoming a disaster for the prolific director.

SKYFALL Early Movie Reviews

Skyfall-Javier-Bardem

SKYFALL, the latest James Bond movie, opened in the United Kingdom October 26 and the Brits are chiming in on whether this 007 film lives up to the critics hype before it opens in the colonies.

North America doesn't get their chance to see SKYFALL until  November 9th, so until then we're looking to the British fans on YouTube to give us the scoop on whether the 23rd film in the James Bond franchise will be worth watching. Daniel Craig returns as James Bond in his third outing as the spy we loved for over 50 years, and the majority of film critics are praising the film. Directed by Sam Mendes (American Beauty), Entertainment Weekly calls SKYFALL the best James Bond since Goldeneye, Hollywood Reporter calls it a "beautifully made film" that is "gripping while still brandishing," and the Playlist goes so far to compare Mendes work to Christopher Nolan's Batman Begins.

SKYFALL also stars Javier Bardem, Ralph Fiennes, Naomi Harris, Judi Dench, and Albert Finney.  SKYFALL opens November 9, 2012 in North America.
