Lucasfilm's Kathleen Kennedy announced some exciting news for STAR WARS fans at the D23 Expo. Ewan McGregor is indeed reprising his role of Obi-Wan Kenobi for Disney+. The series is set to shoot next year in London, and the scripts have been completed. In other news, Diego Luna and Alan Tudyk visited D23 to tease their prequel in the Cassian and K2SO, which begins shooting next year. READY OR NOT is a hilarious horror comedy with a great leading lady who keeps every moment interesting. Samara Weaving plays Grace, a bride marrying into a well-to-do family whose strange initiation has her on the run as soon as she says, "I do." SPIDER-MAN: FAR FROM HOME has surpassed all expectations to become Sony Pictures highest-grossing film ever in its 95-year history. Thanks Marvel. There's no doubt AVENGERS: ENDGAME contributed to the boost with the latest Spider-man movie being sort of a follow-up to the fallout of the last AVENGERS film. The film has earned over a billion dollars worldwide, and Sony plans to add to that sum by re-releasing the film Labor Day weekend with four additional never-before-seen minutes in an action sequence.

47 METERS DOWN: UNCAGED has more in common with Sharknado than its predecessor. The original 2017 film starring Mandy Moore was a non-stop anxiety fest, but its sequel is more worthy of a release on the SYFY Network rather than a movie theater experience. When your main characters aren't dying fast enough to end your misery, there's a huge problem.

The PG-13 horror film is based on the Alvin Schwartz's series by the same name. Whether you like it or not depends on your familiarity with the books.
