Eugenio Derbez continues to make his mark in Hollywood with his latest role in MIRACLES FROM HEAVEN directed by Mexican director Patricia Riggen (The 33, Girl in Progress). In a recent conversation with the native Mexican actor, writer and director, he reveals he went into the role with a misconception of Jennifer Garner. On March 20th, Jencarlos Canela ("Telenovela") portrays the world’s most influential figure in FOX’s live T.V. musical, “The Passion” produced and narrated by Tyler Perry. Canela explains the pressure behind playing such an iconic figure, and why he developed a bromance with Judas played by another singer turned actor Chris Daughtry.
"The Passion" tells the story of Jesus Christ’s final hours through a series of biblical passages scored by a handful of popular contemporary songs. At a recent sit down with Canela, he tells Cinemovie that the music is mind blowing and attributes it to the genius arrangements conceptualized by executive producer Adam Anders (Glee).

The new season of Marvel’s "Daredevil" is looking pretty grim in the last and final trailer for season 2 which premieres March 18. Jon Bernthal joins the new season as the Punisher and Elodie Yung as Elektra. The second season 2 of Netflix’s original series looks like it’s going to be even more grittier than the first season. Suffice it to say, I will be glued to Netflix all day Friday, March 18 binging on all the new shows.

John McClane would be proud. Mary Elizabeth Winstead, best known for playing Bruce Willis' daughter in the Die Hard movies, is one kick ass character in 10 CLOVERFIELD LANE. She doesn't throw punches or kicks, but her Michelle character uses her smarts and resourcefulness throughout the thriller. Part of the enjoyment of this film is going through her journey of whether she should trust her captor played by John Goodman who claims he saved her from the end of the world. Although it bares the name Cloverfield, don't expect it to tie into the 2008 film.

When actor, writer and director Eugenio Derbez first arrived in Hollywood, he often visited the Hollywood Walk of Fame and daydreamed of one day seeing his name engraved on one of the stars adorning Hollywood Boulevard. Derbez, however, never actually thought it would happen until March 10, 2016 when he became one of the few Mexican artists to have that honor. Derbez reveals to CineMovie the significance of having that privilege, why Chris Rock's Oscar monologue didn't sit well with him and why he invited the janitor from his office building to the Hollywood ceremony.

Rarely has a forthcoming film release sparked the reaction that 10 CLOVERFIELD LANE has.
Filmgoers were unaware that the thriller was in production, so when its trailer debuted earlier this year - it was met with surprise and excitement.
Much of the genre bending flick’s details are best left hidden to enhance its viewing experience but it’s basic premise centers on a young woman (Mary Elizabeth Winstead) who awakes in an underground bunker to find that she and the lair’s only other occupant (John Gallagher Jr.) are being held captive by a survivalist (John Goodman) with cryptic motives.
