In season 2, the old-school cholo Luis (Frankie Quinones) and his cousin Julio (Chris Estrada) switch roles with one enjoying life as a slacker and the other wanting more out of life in the hood. Costume designer Rocio Estrada says she brings authenticity through the wardrobe and shops locally from mom-and-pop stores in the Los Angeles area.
