Dark Phoenix Sophie Turner as Jean Grey

The Dark Phoenix arises once again with Jean Grey, played by Sophie Turner, becoming her evil alter ego. Although the action scenes are pretty good, this by far is the worst out of the movie franchise right up there with X-MEN: THE LAST STAND. Find out why in our video review below.

Godzilla: King of the Monsters Drive Time Review

GODZILLA: KING OF THE MONSTERS is the Godzilla movie we've been waiting for. Directed by Michael Dougherty (KRAMPUS), he shows great respect for the king of the monsters and incorporates a lot of the history of the Toho Godzilla movies. A true fan will recognize all those nods and enjoy the movie. Although you're not as invested in the human characters except for Millie Bobby Brown's character, and the family drama, we're there for the monster mashup. Watch our review as we skirt Los Angeles traffic.

Star InactiveStar InactiveStar InactiveStar InactiveStar Inactive

 Avengers Endgame movie review

If you’ve been invested in the Marvel movies since IRON MAN, be ready for your emotions to be wrecked with AVENGERS: ENDGAME. The payoff is there and you'll run the gamut of feelings from elation, laughter to a happy cry and a sad cry. The Russo Brothers and writers Stephen McFeely and Christopher Markus threw everything in there to pay homage to the 22 films Marvel has put out. No stone was left unturned. The three hour run time went by in a snap of Thanos fingers.

'Storm Boy' Movie Review: An Enchanting Tale

Storm Boy JaiCourtney FinnLittle

A boy who raises three pelicans is at the heart of the story of STORM BOY. Newcomer Finn Little steals the show but what’s most impressive is how they got pelicans (not the most cuddly looking things) to follow the 11-year-old actor around like your average pet. STORM BOY also beautifully captures the beauty of South Australia’s coastline.

'Captain Marvel' Movie Review: Thanos Is Dust

Captain Marvel movie review

CAPTAIN MARVEL isn't going down as one of the best Marvel movies, but it's definitely entertaining and feels more like a STAR TREK movie than a  Marvel outing. That's not a bad thing. It has lots of merits, and CAPTAIN MARVEL is a great movie for young girls or anyone whose told they can't achieve their dreams. By the end, there's no doubt Captain Marvel will pound Thanos to dust in ENDGAME.

'Black Panther' Movie Review: The Most Radical Superhero Movie Ever

Star InactiveStar InactiveStar InactiveStar InactiveStar Inactive

Black Panther Chadwick Boseman Michael B Jordan

BLACK PANTHER isn’t just a blockbuster superhero movie. For a lot of people, specifically people of color and women, it’s the chance to see yourself reflected on the screen and feeling empowered. The Marvel movie poses a lot of questions about how we are as a people, our history of oppression and the responsibility that comes with having power.  Big action pieces are often mindless popcorn flicks, but that's not the case with BLACK PANTHER.

Star Wars The Last Jedi Captain Phasma

STAR WARS: THE LAST EPISODE has so many surprises and twists the two and half-hours go flyng by quickly. Director Rian Johnson has taken risks with the latest chapter in the STAR WARS saga that have paid off. All the elements that make the original's special are present in THE LAST JEDI. Awesome space battles, drama, comedy, nods to the original, jaw-dropping moments, and a few light saber battles leave you cheering and gasping. Best of all there's no Death Star, but the FIRST ORDER has even more dangerous weapons at their disposal. Here's our short but sweet review of STAR WARS: THE LAST JEDI with no spoilers.
