Johnny Depp takes a comedic approach to the vampire Barnabas Collins in the remake of the 1960s drama DARK SHADOWS. While he may not imitate the original Barabas Jonathan Frid, the film is an ode to one of his favorite vampires. In the DARK SHADOWS featurette, Johnny and Tim Burton both site Christopher Lee as another iconic vampire figure. A frequent collaborator of Tim Burton and Johnny Depp, Christopher Lee first made an appearance in Tim Burton's Sleepy Hallow (1999) and went on to appear in six other Burton films including lending his voice to the upcoming Frankenweenie and a role in DARK SHADOWS which is featured in the video.

The featurette includes clips from Lee's classic Dracula movie and from the original "Dark Shadows" television show. Burton and Depp also give a little history and background on the vampire and how it influenced their version of DARK SHADOWS.
