Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues Moved Up 2 Days

If all the Ron Burgandy appearances in Dodge commercials and on local television newscasts is making your mouth water, then your dreams have come true with Paramount pushing up the release of Will Ferrell's return as Anchorman away from the Christmas holidays to 2 days earlier.

Originally set for release on Friday, December 20th, ANCHORMAN 2: THE LEGEND CONTINUES will now be opening Wednesday, December 18.  It makes sense to change the release date away from the family focused holiday.  The irreverent comedy is sure to be a hit with younger audiences and returning fans, who will probably getting in that weekend last minute shopping.

Ron Burgandy aka Will Ferrell has been in high-gear promoting the movie as the 70's newsman with wacky appearances in Dodge commercials and over the Thanksgiving weekend, even stepping in as newscaster on a local North Dakota news station.
