'Finding Dory' New Movie Poster Unveiled Before Trailer

The new movie poster for Disney*Pixar's FINDING DORY was unveiled on Ellen Degeneres Twitter which was then deleted, but everyone grabbed it before it disappeared. The poster reveal is in anticipation of the first trailer for the Finding Nemo sequel rumored to premiere Monday or Tuesday. The teaser poster is very subtle with only a glance at Dory's fin with the tagline, "She just kept swimming," a reference from FINDING NEMO.

FINDING DORY is set for release next summer on June 17, 2016. In FINDING DORY, the forgetful blue tang fish sets out to find her parents with help from Marlin and Nemo. Albert Brooks returns as Marlin, and joining the voice cast are Diane Keaton and Eugene Levy as Dory’s parents, while  Ed O’Neill plays a sneaky octopus. Idris Elba joins the cast as well.

CineMovie got a sneak peek at early footage this past summer at the D23 Expo. Ellen Degeneres, Ty Burrell, Ed O’Neill and Kaitlin Olson (It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia) joined the filmmakers behind FINDING DORY on stage at Disney’s D23 animation panel. From the early look, FINDING DORY will rank right up there with Finding Nemo as a beloved classic.
