Daniel-son is back in a sequel to THE KARATE KID with the original actors in "Cobra Kia," an original YouTube Red series. Ralph Macchio and villain William Zabka return to the dojo in a 10-epiosde series. Watch the first teaser trailer which teases a possible rematch.
"Cobra Kai" takes place three decades after the original film. A down-on-his-luck Johnny (Zabka) returns seeking redemption after losing the All Valley Karate Tournament in 1984. He reopens the Cobra Kai dojo and reconnects with a successful Daniel who misses his mentor, Mr. Miyaga (the late Pat Morita).
Described as a half-hour comedy, the series follows their growing pains using karate. Wax on! Wax off! The new YouTube Red series premieres in 2018.
