After playing a redneck gangster in Spring Breakers, James Franco is back to playing a backwoods kingpin and nemesis to Jason Statham. Kate Bosworth also joins in the redneck fun as a woman who sends Franco's sociopathic methamphetamine dealer after Statham after his daughter takes some of her dad's beat down the enemy tactics against her son the bully. Winona Ryder is another of the townspeople. HOMEFRONT, written and produced by Sylvester Stallone, stars Jason Statham as a former drug enforcement agent, Phil Broker, a family man who moves off the grid with his daughter, to a seemingly quiet bayou backwater to escape his troubled past. The family man goes into action once they come after his family and he soon finds out the quiet town is actually an underbelly of drugs and violence.
HOMEFRONT opens November 27th.
