Demon-fighting nuns with supernatural kick-ass skills sounds like a cheesy plot in Netflix's new original series, "Warrior Nun," but given it stars mostly women - it may be worth the watch. The new series premieres July 2, and the tale vs. evil action show is based on the Ben Dunn comic book series.
"Warrior Nun" stars mostly unknown actors but Alba Baptista plays the lead as an orphaned teen who discovers she possesses superpowers when she wakes up in a morgue. She comes to learn she is the chosen one called a "Halo-Bearer" for a secret sect of demon hunting nuns.
