New 'Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire' Trailer: An Ice Age Descends Upon NYC

Ghostbusters Frozen Empire still

The new and original Ghostbusters return for a sequel to GHOSTBUSTERS: AFTERLIFE, and they're back in the city and NYC firehouse. Dan Aykroyd, Ernie Hudson, Bill Murray, and Annie Potts return as well as the newbies' Paul Rudd, McKenna Grace, Carrie Coon and Finn Wolfhard with Patton Oswald and Kumail Nanjiani joining the fun.

A new ghostly threat comes to NYC, and it's up to the Ghostbusters to save NYC. The threat teases the OG characters dressed in their gear as well as the new crew so it'll be interesting to see how they work together.

Ernie Hudson teased during one of our interviews that he will have a bigger role in this movie

Jason Reitman doesn't direct FROZEN EMPIRE, instead handing over the reins to his AFTERLIFE screenwriter Gil Kenan (POLTERGEIST, 2015)

GHOSTBUSTERS: FROZEN EMPIRE arrives in movie theaters on March 29.
