New 'Indiana Jones 5' Trailer and Poster: Nazis Still Haunt Indy

Harrison Ford as Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny movie still

The first look at Harrison Ford's return as Indiana Jones has arrived with a trailer, poster and the newly revealed title, INDIANA JONES AND THE DIAL OF DESTINY. Directed by the exceptional James Mangold, the preview flashbacks to the 40s when Indy fought Nazis. So what does the new plot have to do with the past?

In the new trailer, we find Indy back as a university professor when a new adventure comes his way. This time Indy's partner is his goddaughter played by Phoebe Waller-Bridge. However the past creeps up and we see a de-aged Harrison Ford facing off with those nasty Nazis - one of them played by Mads Mikkelsen.

Is the treasure hunter traumatized by his past or are there clues to whatever artifact he's after? The latter may be the clue to what artifact they're searching for in relation to the title, Dial of Destiny.

The new trailer includes the cast that includes glimpses of a roughed-up Antonio Banderas (PAIN AND GLORY), John Rhys-Davies (RAIDERS OF THE LOST ARK), Toby Jones (JURASSIC WORLD: FALLEN KINGDOM) and Boyd Holbrook (LOGAN).

INDIANA JONES AND THE DIAL OF DESTINY will open in movie theaters on June 30, 2023.
