The new espionage series premieres exclusively on Disney+ on June 21. Nick Fury must stop a clandestine invasion of Earth by a faction of shapeshifting Skrulls. Fury joins his allies, including Everett Ross (Freeman), Maria Hill (Smulders), and the Skrull Talos (Mendelsohn), who has made a life for himself on Earth. Together they race against time to thwart an imminent Skrull invasion and save humanity.
However, is Nick Fury really himself or a Skrull? The new poster suggests he may be someone else under the facade. After all, Talos did impersonate Fury in SPIDER-MAN: FAR FROM HOME along with his wife Soren as Maria Hill. There is no direct reference in the new preview, but Fury is seen with and without his patch in the new trailer. Could that be a clue?
