New 'Solo: A Star War' Story First Full Teaser Trailer

Solo A Star Wars Story movie crew

Han Solo has landed. The first look at Alden Ehrenreich as Han Solo is here in the new teaser trailer for SOLO: A STAR WARS STORY. The smuggler is prominent in the preview along with Donald Glover as Lando Calrissian, Emily Clarke as Qi'Ra and Woody Harrelson as someone who recruits Chewie and Solo on a mission. And of course, whenever the Millenium Falcon shows up, who doesn't get goosebumps. The ship has the new car feel you can almost smell it.

First of all, the cinematography is absolutely beautiful. It sets it apart from all the other STAR WARS films and this world looks disconnected from what we know, which is a good thing. It breathes new life into the franchise. We spoke to the cinematographer Bradford Young and he discussed with us his style for the film.

Donald Glover as Lando Calrissian steals the show. He may be the highlight of the movie with his swagger and smoldering good looks. Alden Ehrenreich as Han Solo doesn't really capture the essense of Harrison Ford's Solo. The dialogue coming out of Solo's mouth doesn't exude cockiness. Perhaps the story explains how his attitude was shaped into what we see in Episodes 4-6.

The introduction of Emily Clarke and Woody Harrelson is also exciting to see as the team up with Lando, Han and Chewie for an adventure against the Empire.

SOLO: A STAR WARS STORY hits movie theaters Memorial Weekend.
