TRANSFORMERS 4: AGE OF EXTINCTION New Teaser Movie Poster

A second teaser poster for the fourth Transformers movie has arrived which reveals the title and release date.  Titled "Age of Extinction," the rebooted Transformers movie starring Mark Wahlberg is set for release June 27, 2014.

Most are speculating the new poster, which was revealed on Yahoo Movies, hints at the Dinobots entering the picture for the new Michael Bay film because of the title. We’ve already seen the logo featuring a “4” and half of a Decepticon insignia in a previous unveil, but it is now shrouded in sand.   Does the sand and title refer to a post-apocalytic setting or are we taken back in time?  The previous films always flashback to an earlier period where some form of discovery was made, so perhaps this is no different.

 

TRANSFORMERS: AGE OF EXTINCTION is underway in China and the United States starring the new star of the action-packed adventured Mark Wahlberg and popular Chinese singer/actor Han Geng in his first English-speaking role.  The exact plot is being kept under wraps. Paramount released a photo from the set featuring Michael Bay, Mark Wahlberg, co-star Jack Reynor (Dollhouse) and crew.

To date, the franchise based on the Hasbro characters has earned more than $2.6 billion worldwide and should bank a couple more millions when the film opens next summer.
