Michael Bay is not directiing BAD BOYS FOR LIFE (thank God), instead relative Hollywood newcomers Adil El Arbi & Bilall Fallah are in the directing chair. The duo are Moroccan-born but they studied in Belgium together in film school. They were on Variety's 10 Directors to Watch list in 2018. It'll be nice to see what the Hollywood outsiders will bring to the action genre, and so far we like what we're seeing.
The film also stars Vanessa Hudgens, Alexander Ludwig, Charles Melton, Paola Nunez, Kate Del Castillo, Nicky Jam and Joe Pantoliano returns as the police chief.
BAD BOYS FOR LIFE hits theaters on January 17, 2020.
