BATTLESHIP is the latest Hasbro game to be adapted for the big screen. Directed by Peter Berg (Hancock), the epic action-adventure has been compared to another Hasbro game - the Transformers, but on water. The latest trailer not only features it's expensive looking special effects but some of the stars of the film, but more so with Rihanna. Is the studio hoping Rihanna will bring audiences opening weekend? After a disappointed turn for Taylor Kitsch as John Carter, that might be the case for this FX driven film.
BATTLESHIP is in movie theaters May 2012.
