Australian Radha Mitchell didn't grow up with the Christian beliefs referenced in THE SHACK, but she still found it an intriguing project although her agent tried to talk her out of starring in a "religious film." After suffering a family tragedy, Mack Phillips spirals into a deep depression that causes him to question his innermost beliefs.
