Sofia Espinosa embodies Mexican pop icon Gloria Trevi perfectly in the new biopic GLORIA. Espinosa tells CineMovie how she prepared to play the most controversial star out of Mexico, and learning to sing for the first time. Espinosa and her director are also telling us what Gloria Trevi thought of the film and her performance.
GLORIA premiered at the Hola Mexico Film Festival this month, and will open in the U.S. in August. We also spoke with GLORIA director Christian Keller who reveals it took him 10 years to bring Gloria Trevi's life to the screen, and five years to find the right actress to play Mexico's Madonna.
