Kelly Marie Tran will become a household name after starring in STAR WARS: THE LAST JEDI, and the young actress still can't believe she's gone to a galaxy far, far away. CineMovie's Valentina Patruño sat down with the San Diego native in Miami to talk about how she was able to keep the role of a lifetime a secret and why she has to buy her own action figures from the movie when she's goes shopping.
In STAR WARS: THE LAST JEDI, Kelly Marie Tran plays Rose Tico, a mechanic in the resistance. She along with John Boyega's Finn must help the rebellion survive the First Order. While the actors can't give anything away about the movie, we did go behind the scenes of EPISODE VIII and find out how Tran spent her time while she was not shooting.
STAR WARS: THE LAST JEDI flies into movie theaters December 15.
