Tabloid favorites like Lindsay Lohan and Mel Gibson are sure to make their way into the host’s targets. But will the Family Guy showrunner, be as mean-spirited as Ricky Gervais during the Golden Globes in 2011 and 2012? Highly unlikely given the stature of the ceremony, but expect his wry sense of humor to offend someone, although some may not know they are being insulted by the highly intelligent host.
In the video interview, Seth MacFarlane remarks that some celebrities can’t handle jokes so he suggests building an electric fence separating himself from the celebrities in the audience. He compares it to a Mexico and United States riff.
