Satanic Hispanics' Eduardo Sanchez and Demian Rugna Talk Horror Influences

Satanic Hispanics 2023 movie still

Filmmaker Eduardo Sanchez broke through with THE BLAIR WITCH PROJECT and set off the found footage craze in the horror genre. The director/writer branched out into TV directing episodes of Lucifer, Supernatural, Yellowjackets and Queen of the South. He returns to his horror roots with the horror anthology, SATANIC HISPANICS directing a segment along with four other directors including Argentinian director Demian Rugna who also reveals his horror influences.

SATANIC HISPANICS is now playing in movie theaters.

SATANIC HISPANICS tells five different stories by top Latin filmmakers inspired by legends and mythology from Latin America. The Traveler (Efren Ramirez) is in police custody warning the investigators to beware of the Santa Muerta coming to kill everyone if he's not released. The Traveler recounts the tales of horrors and portals to other worlds of mythical beings, demons and the undead.

SATANIC HISPANICS stars Efren Ramirez (NAPOLEON DYNAMITE), Jacob Vargas (Sons of Anarchy, TRAFFIC), Patricia Velasquez (THE MUMMY RETURNS) and Hemky Madera (QUEEN OF THE SOUTH).
